General Pre-Op Instructions
Smiling woman with arms crossed Please reference the GENERAL PRE-OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS form provided to you at your treatment conference and pre-surgery appointments for detailed information regarding the followings:

•  Instruction for receiving Oral Sedation (Halcion), Nitrous Oxide, or I.V. Sedation
•  Instruction for patients on anticoagulant (blood thinner) medications (Note: Although the instructions for modifying anticoagulant medications prior to and after surgery are Dr. Trinh’s recommendation, Dr. Trinh will consult with your physician(s) prior to ensure your physician(s) is also in agreement with these recommendations)
•  Instruction for patients receiving sinus lift (These are medications you need to take before sinus lift procedure)
•  You might be given prescriptions for antibiotic(s), pain mediation, steroid or antimicrobial rinse prior to the appointment. We highly recommend you fill these medications in advance so that you have the medications ready to take after the procedure(s) to ensure optimal healing and your comfort.
